The Footsteps Centre’s programme is unique to the UK, offering specialist intensive rehabilitation for children and young adults with neurological, neuro-motor, undiagnosed disorders, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and other genetic disorders.Footsteps provides ground-breaking physiotherapy, where specialised physiotherapists design patient specific rehabilitation, therapeutic exercises and specialised equipment, to help patients achieve their full potential.

Every hour of specialist treatment will make a difference.

Our approach is intensive and child friendly, tailoring individual therapy to meet the specific needs of patients, combining fun and games, with unique and traditional physiotherapy procedures. We aim to enhance and improve physical development of our patients, as well as build their confidence; both of which often positively affect speech and cognitive capabilities.

Patients will see tangible and sustainable results which will improve their quality of life and help them achieve their full potential.

To ensure access to the intensive physiotherapy programmes provided at the Footsteps Centre for all, the Footsteps Foundation was established. Footsteps physiotherapy programmes are not available on the NHS, which may therefore financially inhibit some patients to enjoy this life changing therapy. The Foundation is therefore in place to provide the necessary financial assistance to those who may otherwise not be able to afford the Footsteps programme. Since its inception, the Foundation is actively working to raise the necessary funds, though continued financial contributions from the public are required to ensure that, all those who need the therapy, can enjoy full access without financial restraints.
