After the confines and restrictions of wheelchair and standing frame it is a joy to see my daughter Lucy kneeling, standing, stepping and even bouncing independently in the ‘Spider’. One visit and you are hooked!

After one of her sessions my daughter started to sit up from lying down. We were really amazed as we’d been told she would never achieve any purposeful independent movement at all. Now she is high kneeling, crawling (after a fashion!) and standing with very minimal support. I do not believe she would have achieved this without the wonderful physiotherapists at Footsteps and the very best thing is, it’s such fun!

After our first session James was able to take ten independent steps. After our second over fifty, and after the third, over seventy. Footsteps has helped him gain strength, confidence and increased his overall range of independent movement.

Dylan enjoyed Footsteps very much. The treatment was fun and effective making it very worthwhile. We have definitely seen an improvement in Dylan’s mobility since coming to Footsteps.

We were in complete despair trying to find an experienced physiotherapist for Cameran; Footsteps has truly fulfilled that need and we no longer worry that we are not doing our best for him. Cameran really enjoys the sessions and is growing stronger all the time.

We have found the intensive sessions to be of immense benefit. There are noticeable improvements in both Yasmin’s attitude towards her disability as well as in her mobility. There is no comparison between the physiotherapy offered at Footsteps and that which is offered by the local authority. We have come to understand that there are no miracles in life but there are some very positive decisions that you can make to help your child reach their maximum potential and none more so than embarking on a three week program at Footsteps.

Footsteps has been a fantastic find for us as it is very accessible and also has suitable accommodation for us to use.  The treatment is incredibly effective and Bethany really enjoys her sessions with the physiotherapists.  Anyone who wants the best for their child should look into this physiotherapy.
